If you’re fidgeting while watching TV, sitting at your desk or eating dinner, this burns plenty of calories as your body is constantly moving.
In fact according to research, you can burn up to 350 calories a day by simple “fidgeting”.
It’s always a good thing to laugh, but an even bigger benefit is that you actually burn calories by doing so.
Although it’s not a huge amount of calories, your heart rate does increase causing calories to be burned.
It has been found that 15 minutes of laughter a day can burn 10 to 40 calories.
Studies have shown that 40 minutes of dancing can melt around 200 calories.
So next time you’re out, don’t feel embarrassed about your dance movies as you will be burning hundreds of calories by moving around.

Walking around when you’d normally stand still or squatting when you’re usually sat down can burn belly fat.
According to a study, you can burn 70 calories for every five minutes you do squats, so 15 minutes of squatting will slash around 200 calories.

It is believed that an hour of the work can burn up to 157 calories.

10. Taking the stairs

According to Terri-Ann, you can burn 102 calories by walking up and down the stairs for 10 minutes.
